Our Legacy S/S 09

I like swedish Our Legacy's new collection, they know how to put a little scandinavian flavor to the classic preppy style.

Their collection is based on colorful, funky shirts and bowties worn with a pair of really short shorts and a crewneck sweater.

There also seems to be a lot of pink (light and hot).
...And be sure to wear canvas shoes again this summer.

A Lightweight Scarf

I have really started to like the idea of a lightweight scarf or a silk scarf with a jacket.

I have seen the look on J.Lindeberg's collections for quite a while, but it didn't take me long to figure out who's thing it really is...

Stockholm Guys

Why does it seem, that guys in Stockholm are always really stylish and able to pull of anything.

I would like to see more finnish guys have the confidence to stand out, rather than blend in, even though there has been a HUGE progress in the last few years.

Mr. Luca Rubinacci

This guys knows how to wear patterns and colors, and still look very elegant.
This is that sprezzatura I've been talking about!

Watch and learn guys:

Blue eyes with a blue shirt, blue gloves and a blue tie, not to mention the purple scarf matching to the lining of the jacket.

Summer cool

Definitely not an easy look to pull off, but looks great on him.

Seersucker Cool

How to wear a seersucker?

Wear the jacket and the pants separately, leave the real thing for true southern gentlemen.

And about the colors; the basic black-white striped is cool, but if you want to stand out a bit more, go for a blue-white or a red-white striped one.

Silk Scarves

I have seen a lot of cool cats rock a silk scarf lately,  I also have one that I wore a few times this fall.

I think it's time to start wearing it more often. ..

Gant L.A. Pastels

Gant's S/S 09 just sets me in the summer mood with the pastel colors, shorts and sandals.
Can't wait 'til it gets hot!

Go To Hell Pants

Lately, I have seen a lot of cool outfits with a pair go to hell pants(a.k.a. embroidered manchester pants or chinos), I like the look but you need to be certain type of a guy to pull them off.

We'll see if they are going to have a few pairs of these at Stockmann's Polo Ralph Lauren section...

Henry Cotton's

I was positively surprised when I heard that NK's Trend section (in Stockholm) has the famous british golfer Henry Cotton's clothes.

I can just imagine their English Campus Collection being on sale right now...
Anybody going to Stockholm? :D

Dopamin

Dopamin is an international fashion brand that sells unique and limited collection items, each product has an identification number in the back of the the item, for example 1/100.

Dopamin's philosophy is that they don't need a head designer, market research or trend scouts to know what fashionista's want, you may ask why? Because the young men that design and model Dopamin clothes are the fashionista's themself, all of them being 18 to 23 year-old guys from all across europe they are part of the big companies' target group, but now having the opportunity to design the clothes they actually want to wear.

"Uniqueness is one of Dopamin's core values so well expressed by our designers. In fact, the starting point for this campaign grew straight out of the uniqueness and genuiness of our designers. And these unique personalities are so real in their own creations, they overshadow even the most luxurious setting. We are proud to show the world their faces."
Carsten Drochner, Dopamin CEO

Corneliani ID S/S 09 Collection

Seems like the classic menswear brand Corneliani has taken a new, more american direction with their Corneliani ID label.

I'm going to have to say, after seeing these pics, I like the ID collection a lot more than the other...
These clothes are american classics but they have still managed to make the collection look fresh, luxurious and very european.
