Tough Week For Fashion

Like somebody always says "In fashion one day you're in and the next day you're out."

Yep, this week French designer Christian Lacroix filed bankruptcy...

and the same thing with Belgian Veronique Branquinho, who's F/W 09 collection was her last one.

There has also been serious talk about Mr. Thom Browne being the next one in line.

Unconstructed Jacket

Now it's the right time to start wearing that unconstructed jacket of yours or buy a new one.

An unconstructed jacket looks the best with chinos, jeans or white pants, but for the brave ones; I recommend giving it a try with a pair of shorts. With shoes I would probably go for brown suede or leather.

They sell these bad boys in every imaginable color now a days; navy and white are classics, but light pastel colors are cool too (as seen on Gant L.A. Pastels)

Vuoreton takki näyttää mielestäni parhaalta chinojen, farkkujen tai valkoisten housujen kanssa; mutta rohkeimmille suosittelen kokeilemaan sitä shortsien kanssa.

Kengistä sen verran että ruskea nahka tai mokka sopii parhaiten.

Vuorettomia takkeja myydään nykyään kaikissa väreissä, tummansininen ja valkoinen ovat klassikoita, mutta haaleat pastellinsävyt ovat myös hyvännäköisiä (Gant L.A. Pastels-tyyliin).
